My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rown🖤
He was found on the street. He had swallowed stones and screws, requiring emergency surgery. He also had an injury on his leg from his difficult life on the streets, but after surgery, he’s now in recovery.

* With People: Loves people so much! Despite having a hard time in the past with accidents and struggles, he is endlessly affectionate and loves being around people.
* With Dogs: Is full of energy and enjoys playing with other dogs. Is very playful and always approaches first to initiate play.
* With Cats: Is curious and always watches them when they pass by.

* Separation Anxiety: Currently resides with other dogs at the shelter, so it’s hard to determine. Shows mild signs of separation anxiety when alone.
* Potty Training: Is well-trained to go potty both indoors and outdoors.
* Hygiene: Is still getting used to baths. Resists at first but cooperates once he’s in the bath. Is also good with drying, brushing, and nail trimming, though he might try to run initially but stays calm during the process.
* Walks: Loves walks so much that he sometimes pulls on the leash when he gets excited, but it’s not severe and can be managed easily.
* Car Sickness: Rides well without any signs of motion sickness.
* Has mastered several commands such as “sit” and “paw ” about 80% of the time.
* Sometimes barks at external noises or in excitement when greeting people because he loves them so much.

** Health Condition : Recovering from ankle surgery; he’s walking better but may need ongoing rehabilitation.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All our dogs fly from South Korea to the US when their adoptions are finalized so the adopters cannot go through "meet and greet."
But once applicants pass zoom interview, we will connect adopter to foster team for the most up to date news as well as photos and videos. The adopter can post any questions and can make video call as well.
Please hold our dog's hands so that they can forget about the painful past and live happily.

More about this rescue

ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.

We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.

Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.

In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.

Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
