This precious pittie has known human kindness & certainly had a family once, but things have been a little challenging lately. Picked up as a stray, she spent months at the shelter, then was adopted by someone who received devastating health news not long thereafter & had to give her up. Betsy is about eight years old but has plenty of energy to go on a few good walks per day, She's inquisitive and loves to stay busy with nose and food games. A perfect day for Betsy? Moderate exercise, a healthy snack or two, and then a few hours of lounging around watching Netflix (preferably on the couch next to you!). Betsy is less confident around other dogs than on her own and would do best as an only pet. She'll need a companion with time and patience, as she has some separation anxiety, She enjoys riding in the car, and although she'd prefer to be in the front seat, she's perfectly content to be belted in the back as long as she can look out the window. Fully-vetted (including a comprehensive dental & HW treatment!), she’s ready for a foster or forever home.
