My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sharon-- a super sweet, 1 year old female domestic shorthair cat. Sharon is affectionate and playful and looking to be the only cat in your household due to her Feline Leukemia positive status. Sharon is currently in good health but FeLV cats do have shortened lifespans and it is contagious to other cats. We still think Sharon deserves the chance to live her life to the fullest in a home where she can be your one and only feline, even if its only for a few years! Sharon is good with kids and adults and seems to be open to meeting dogs too!
Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!

Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
