Hansel is a stunning 6 month old, 45 lb boy. This gentle yet playful, sweet boy came to us after he and his mom were abandoned in a rural field. Good Samaritans came together and trapped them and brought them to our rescue where we learned that he and his mother Gretel are absolute angels. In spite of their abandonment and neglect, they still strive to trust and build a relationship with humans. Hansel is very engaging, affectionate, and playful. He greets other people and dogs gently and would love to have a companion pup to play with. He would do best in a home with somebody who has prior dog experience with shy dogs as he needs to learn the big things in the world are not scary. Hansel is not a barker, he can just be timid but he tries really hard to understand and come out of his shell. Once he knows you, he is in your pocket! Beautifully intelligent and willing! This sweet boy is young and has a big bright future ahead of him with a family who will promise to love him forever!
