My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Have you ever seen a dog rock a feathered boa so fabulously? Meet Ms. Piggy, or as most call her, Piggy for short! She's a sweet, smart, and affectionate lady with the brightest smile and a wiggly bum. And those ears? She promises to be a great listener and won't share ANY of your secrets! Her heart is full of love, and she'll do just about anything for a tasty treat.

Piggy has quickly become a staff and volunteer favorite, and she loves exploring the trails and going on field trips with her pals. Some of her favorite things include car rides, zooming around with squeaky toys, basking in the sun, being told she's pretty, and, of course, snuggling up for belly rubs and affection. She's crate trained, food-motivated, and thrives during training sessions, already knowing commands like:

"Sit"
"Down"
"Stay"
"Wait"
"Place"
"Paw"
"Front"
"Go say hi"
"Touch"

With the promise of more treats, she's eager to learn even more! Plus, as a recipient of our Pedigree Success Kit, Ms. Piggy will come with a training voucher and goodies to help start you both off on the right paw!

What does Piggy dream of? A quiet home where she can bask in the sun in the yard and be a loyal companion. Got an extra spot on your sofa? Ms. Piggy can't wait to snuggle up, watch some fall movies, and wouldn't mind sharing a few snacks. Coming from the rural South, loud noises in busy areas can be a bit scary for Piggy, but she's a brave girl who's gaining confidence every day. She enjoys checking things out at her own pace, warming up with some tasty treats and encouragement!

If you're looking for a silly, loyal, and food-motivated companion with "main character energy," don't wait - apply for Piggy today!

Not ready to adopt? Ms. Piggy would greatly benefit from a foster home where she can continue to build her confidence in a calm and loving environment. A foster home would provide her with the extra comfort and stability she needs, helping her to thrive while she waits for her perfect match.
