My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

There are more things in Heaven and Earth, Horatio, than kitty food and crinkle toys. You can find no better friend than our Horatio. Gentle and sweet, we just melt under his soft gaze. He and his litter mates are dressed for a night at the theater, his coat just a bit longer than his brother's. Horatio is part-parrot, and loves to be on your shoulder; he just wants to be close to you. Hold him in your heart of hearts - he’s ready to be your confidant, your faithful companion.

He is part of a bonded pair with Alcott, his adopted sister and best friend. We are prioritizing applications which adopt them together.

Given his personality, we believe he would do well with other cats, older children, and cat-friendly dogs if allowed time for an introduction.

The adoption fee includes his neuter surgery, microchip, and vaccinations.

If you are interested in adopting, please go to our adoption page for more information on our adoption process and to complete our adoption application.

Please note: Our policy is to only adopt young kittens with a littermate or in a bonded pair. This policy ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development.
*All in our program are assumed to be mixed breed as none have had genetic testing. They are designated based on characteristics observed and noted.

Additional adoption info

Our top priority is finding the perfect match between families and pets so that all of our rescued animals find a safe and loving home. We try to make our adoption process a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. At the same time, we pride ourselves on being as thorough as possible. This means that we take time to make sure the pet you're interested in is the right fit for your family. We will work with you to make sure you have all the information you need to make an informed decision. If there is more than one application for a pet, we will be upfront and let you know. Please be aware that we may make a home visit and/or contact your veterinarian before completing the adoption process. We may also contact your landlord if you rent an apartment or home. Our aim to ensure a lifetime of love and companionship for all of our animals and their new families.
