3 yr old Jack mix completely vetted. Lovely lovely boy. friendly with all people, good with other dogs. very playful! crate trained, house broken . Needs leash work. He is ready to learn, will recommend group class for learning social skills. Needs active people has toy drive. great biking, hiking, paddleboard partner!! Good with kids. Was adopted returned to shelter for food guarding. FEED IN CRATE AND YOU WONT HAVE AN ISSUE> he is here with 6 other dogs all ages. NO ISSUES> He does not like to give up a bone or toy in the mouth so we are working on that. He turns his head or runs away. We are working on an out for a treat. He is doing well. Hand feeding in progress. Small toddlers with food in their hands are not a good thing for Jack. He is great for active adults. He is a very active boy, and needs mental enrichment. Perfect for scent work!!!! Read the breed. This is a great dog, could be awesome sports prospect also!!! Loves to jump, has no fear. Fostered in Bradenton area. Jack continues to be an awesome soul!! He is very playful, biddable, listens well to verbals. Becoming very tuned in to other dogs needs and space. He will make someone a great sport dog, or active companion!!

We require potential adopters to fill out an Adoption Application.When that is approved we can arrange for the prospective adopter to meet the dog they are interested in. We do require an adoption contract to be signed at time of adoption. We have a virtual home-check process (don't forget to submit photos of the exterior of your home!) Adoption fees range depending on the age of the dog. We do have dogs located at qualified fosters throughout the state and also out of state.

Since all rescue dogs live in foster homes, there is no single facility to meet pups.

We are a small, foster-based rescue organization located in Southwest Florida. Being small helps us give more one-on-one attention to individual dogs and their needs. Rescued dogs are kept in our homes and treated as our own. Herding dogs are unique. They are highly intelligent and require much of the owner’s attention. The dogs are evaluated, when they come into the rescue, for any temperament and health issues. Then they are given basic obedience, socialization and rehabilitation as it is necessary.
It is our sole purpose to find forever homes for these loving, wonderful dogs that have been discarded through no fault of their own. All adopted dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, micro-chipped, and on flea and heartworm preventative.
