My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Aksel is a 3 year old Belgian Malinois/ German Shepard mix breed adult dog that weighs about 60 lbs that loves to smile! He came to our family as a young puppy after we adopted him out of an abusive situation. He is high energy and loves to play. He loves his toys and will play tug of war and fetch but sometimes wants you to chase him while he has his toy. He currently lives with 3 children (8m, 2f, 0m) and loves all of them. He also lives with a cat (2 y.o.) that he ignores for the most part (after the adjustment period where he would chase the cat to sniff/interact with her). He is wary of strangers and alerts (barks) when deliveries are made or when an unknown person approaches the house. He is house trained and has his regular annual visits to the vet with no issues or ongoing health problems. He has an annual vet visit currently scheduled for June where we will make sure that he is up to date on all shot/vaccinations.
