My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Flamingo, a vivacious and adult canine friend. Her sweetness is as evident as her friendliness. She`s the kind of dog who`ll greet you with a wagging tail and a cheerful bark, ready to start the day with enthusiasm. She`s energetic, always up for a game of fetch or a brisk walk. Her friendly demeanor makes her a joy to be around. She`s also been known to be quite the charmer, winning hearts wherever she goes. Adopting Flamingo means bringing home a bundle of joy, love, and endless companionship. She`s ready to fill your home with laughter and happiness, making every day brighter than the last.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
