Sansa is a eight-year-old dachshund/chihuahua mix that was originally rescued from abandonment about four years ago. When she was found, she had a large heartworm infection and some dental issues, all of which have been treated. She absolutely adores humans, and is a very good lapdog. She will want to follow you around, especially if you have a designated dog bed for her in the room. She is a fairly low energy dog, who is looking for a quiet owner to snuggle with on the sofa. If you’re looking for a jogging buddy, this is not the dog for you. She has played well with every dog that she’s met so far, and has no trouble with children.

Preference will be given to rehomes near Lawrence, KS or Kansas City, KS
