Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Kate is a sassy sweetheart looking for an active family who will keep her on her toes! She’s young and energetic and will benefit from training and enrichment. Kate was found as a stray and was friendly during the brief time that she spent with her finder.
Here’s what staff and volunteers at the shelter have said:
“Kate was a little excited in her kennel but she was easy to leash. I took her to a play yard and she enjoyed exploring, but came back to check in frequently. She seems people-oriented and loved butt scritches. Kate is treat-motivated and takes them gently. I was able to get her to sit for a treat pretty quickly. She chased a tennis ball and brought it back to me. Kate is a really nice, friendly girl and I`m looking forward to walking her again.”
“Kate is easy to handle and she’s a friendly girl. In her kennel she politely waited for me to leash her up and she had a great time in the yard with her kennelmate. She loves to run around and take dips in the pool. She’s fun to be with.”
“Kate knows a few tricks that serve her very well, like `off`, `sit`, `come` (and her name), and can follow voice commands on a walk very well. She is polite with her listening skills when it comes to being steered away from stimuli that she’s curious about, and she is highly trainable. Treats and toys are her favorite! Very good and eager to learn girl.”
Kate has had a variety of roommates and has been social and tolerant when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Ask to meet Kate today!
