We adopted Rex from the Crowley County Humane Society about one year ago. Rex has the potential of being a very very good dog. He loves snuggles and pets, but unfortunately we don’t know his history, he doesn’t know how to play with dog toys and he is very timid of most things. If he doesn’t know you he does growl, but he has never bit anyone or anything. It takes him a minute to warm up, but when he does he is a “lapdog”. He does struggle with going potty inside and with chewing on things, but he is house trained, we believe it’s due to the fact of our busy schedule and being left alone for long periods. If you adopt Rex we do recommend a quieter household, loud noises scare him, and someone who can show him love and attention that unfortunately our family is unable to provide. He is a good dog, unfortunately he is just not the right fit for our family and we can’t give him what he needs.
