Trixie is a brown and red Torbie senior female who came in with another senior cat due to her owner getting a divorce. Trixie is affectionate, lap loving, playful and friendly and loves attention. Trixie was born 10/2014 and has been around dogs but is cautious and has been around kids 3+ with a slow introduction. Trixie does have a condition called Feline odontoclastic resorptive lesions which is a condition where, for generally unknown reasons, cats develop holes in the enamel of their teeth, usually on the gumline. Unfortunately, there is no effective treatment for FORL lesions that saves the tooth. The best option is to remove affected teeth. At this time Trixie has been cleared by management as special needs with this special medical addendum informing you of her condition. We highly recommend that you follow up with your primary vet clinic to better manage and stay on top of Trixie's overall health. Please consider this wonderful senior female as a great addition to your home! Due to her special needs, her adoption fee is waived by West Houston Subaru. (CC 6-3-2024)
