My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Snack is a lovable and playful boy who just adores being around people! He is calm and curious in his kennel, coming up to greet his passers by and his walk pals with a wagging tail.
Snack eagerly solicits head rubs and gives sweet kisses. He loves snuggling up and even tries to make himself at home in your lap!
He's a playful guy who engages happily in games, especially enjoying running around with his handler. Snack also has a few tricks up his sleeve-he knows "sit and "down and will show you his adorable puppy eyes if he's kept waiting too long for a treat!
Snack is a wonderful, snuggly companion who would love a forever home where he can be both playful and close to his people. If you're looking for a loving and loyal buddy, Snack could be the mans for you!

Eligible for rescue, foster, and adoption. Meet Snack at ACCT Philly any day of the week from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., or email foster@acctphilly.org to express interest in fostering him.

06/04/24 staff notes: Snack came out for activity time today. Snack was sitting patiently in kennel by the door with a wagging tail. Snack was easy to leash and came out perfectly. He pulled moderately and greeted volunteers on his way out. When I tried to pet Snack inside the building he was very tense and flinched with a tucked tail but once he was outside he jumped up on me and solicited for pets-- even giving some very sweet kisses. Snack seems more confident outside, trotting around and sniffing the grass. We ran around for awhile before wanting to sit next to be and just be pet. On our way back into kennels he pulled a lot less and was even easier to walk. He was easy to bring back in and went into kennel by himself.

06/03/24 staff notes/dog meet: During his dog meet Snack was pretty nervous and hesitant, but really wanted to play and say hi. He was loose and waggy, but would flinch away from the other dog often. He would do best with a slower intro to other dogs.
