Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
**I am located in Georgia, but I can be transported north to you!**
Name: Cappuccino
Breed: Australian Shepherd, German Shepherd, and Pit Bull Terrier Mix
Sex/Age/Weight: Female, DOB 04/16/24, 20-25 pounds
Vetting: Spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention
House trained/Crate Trained: Cappuccino has started on house training. She’s not 100% yet, but she’s doing good. And she's doing great in her crate. No fussing and no accidents all night!
Dogs/Cats/Children: Great with dogs (big and small, puppy to seniors) and people. As a puppy, she’ll just need some supervision / training to be fine with cats.
Energy Level: Medium – She loves running and playing, inside and out. But she’s also a snuggle bug who loves spending time with her people or even better, in their laps.
Before FAR/My History: Cappuccino and her littermates were born a few days after their mom arrived at the shelter. Two days later they moved to their current foster home.
Training Status/Commands: She’s good with come and sit (especially with the enticement of a treat).
Things I like: Cappuccino is a happy, social pup – she loves running and playing with other pups and dogs. She loves being held and cuddled.
Things I don’t like: She’s occasionally nervous about neighboring dogs barking. And loud noises (such as a lawn mower) occasionally frighten her.
Things that make my humans happy: Cappuccino is such a sweetheart. She has such beautiful, expressive eyes. And those ears!
Ideal Family/Home: She is looking for a family of her own. Cappuccino would fit in with almost any situation – whether it’s with a single adult or a family. She just wants to be loved!
Special Notes: Four of Cappuccino’s littermates have already been adopted – it’s her turn now!
If you are interested in giving Cappuccino a forever home, please visit the link below to fill out an application! http://fureverafterrescue.org/adoption-application.html It is best to submit an application through a computer. Our adoption process starts with the potential adopter filling out an adoption application. In the application, you can specify a particular dog in which you are interested, or let us know what type of pet in which you are looking, so we can find the perfect animal to fit your family and your needs. Once the application is received, a board member will review the application, and make contact with the potential adopter within 48 hours. This initial contact may include further questions/more information, or may include scheduling a meet and greet for you to meet the animal in which you are interested! Once the application is approved or the meet and greet goes well, then the adoption can be finalized. To finalize the adoption, an adoption agreement must be completed, the adoption fee paid (we accept cash, paypal, or credit/debit card), and then the potential adopter can take their new family member home with them or schedule pick up of their furry family member! The adoption fee varies based on the animal. Some of our animals have the fees listed in their individual post but if you do not see one then please feel free to contact us and we would be happy to let you know the cost to adopt a particular pet. If you are interested in any of our animals, please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have!!

More about this rescue
Furever After Rescue, a 501(c)(3) organization, is a no-kill, foster-based rescue devoted to finding homes for animals needing a loving home. Most of our animals come from local, high-kill shelters with some occasionally coming from bad situations and owner surrender. Our animals are immediately placed in foster homes where they learn love and are taught how to live in a home environment. All of our animals are up-to-date on their age-appropriate vetting needs and are tested for personality traits as best as possible. We have many wonderful pets looking for forever homes!
We are currently based out of Macon, GA but partner with a quality private transport group that helps us get our furbabies to homes up and down the east coast so don't let distance deter you from contacting us about one of our furry friends!
