My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey hey hey! I’m Sokka—your friendly neighborhood Husky Hype Machine, reporting for duty!

I’m the real deal when it comes to Siberian huskies: fluffy double coat? Check. Gorgeous brown eyes? Oh yeah. Nonstop commentary about literally everything? You bet your biscuits. I wake up ready to run, talk, play, and repeat—and my battery? Basically eternal.

I’m not even two years old yet, but I’ve already made myself a legend around here. I've got the perfect combo of sweet snuggles, playful sass, and full-speed zoomies. Wanna hit the trails? I’m in. Do laps around the park? Say the word. Tug-of-war? Oh, it's on. Physical activity is my love language, baby.

Give me a puzzle or a tasty treat and watch me go. I’ll dazzle you with my smarts and spin my tail like a helicopter while I do it. Around people, I’m a total cuddle missile—expect lean-ins, kisses, and the kind of husky grin that’ll melt your heart.

Other dogs? Well, I’ve got teenage husky energy, so I vibe best with the chill crowd. If another dog tries to boss me around, I might get a little mouthy—but give me some structure and clear rules, and I’ll settle into the pack just fine.

So here’s the deal: I’m looking for a home that gets me. One that’s active, ready for adventure, and isn’t afraid to lay down the law when I get a little too clever for my own good. If that sounds like you… then let’s do this.

Let’s be unstoppable.
Love, Sokka the Zoomie King 🐾💨

More about this shelter

We are committed and wholeheartedly dedicated to providing family and emergency services involving rescuing, sheltering, fostering, vetting, adoption and transportation of
"at risk" or "death row" husky and other large dog breeds.

Our goal is to not only provide these services in larger facilities than we currently have but also to use our resources to educate and raise public awareness on the benefits of properly caring for and keeping their pets and/or adopting from shelters and not shopping from breeders.

Our mission is to share our knowledge on the pro's of spay and neuter, the cons of backyard breeding and provide sound advice and services that help the community manage their day to day with their furry family members. Together, we can greatly reduce the number of unaltered, unvaccinated animals in our communities and put a dent in the homeless population by providing access to family services as well as spay, neuter and chip id programs.
