Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Sofie. Some nice people found me walking around their neighborhood and took me home for a little while but could not keep me. I'm a sweet girl once I'm comfortable with you. I prefer slow introductions where you let me approach and get to know you at my pace. I love treats so that helps me warm up. Once I'm confident with you, I love being pet gently and enjoy belly rubs. I like going for walks and do well on the leash, I don't pull at all. I am picky about my dog friends and will have to meet them first. Right now I don't play with toys much, but maybe you can teach me. I'd love to find a patient adopter with dog experience who will take things slowly with me. I'll do best with adults only in a house with a yard, no apartments/condos. I can become your best friend if you give me a chance. Adopt me!

Our goal at PAWS4you Rescue is to find the right home for our animals. The hard-working team of volunteers who comprise our adoption committee fully vet and review all adoption applications and work diligently to place each of our animals in the home that best meets their needs.

The PAWS4you Rescue retreat is not open to the public except during our Open Houses which are usually scheduled from 12 – 2 PM on the first Saturday of each month.You can also meet some of our pups at our monthly adoption events.
