Hi, my name is Nena. A nice man found me as a stray and brought me to PAWS4you. I'm a little shy but am friendly and love human attention once I get to know you. I enjoy getting pet and will nudge your hand with my nose when I want more pets. I like going for walks and love looking for lizards! I am playful with low to medium energy dogs. I'm very smart and am learning basic commands. Since I love treats, continuing my training should be easy. Although I like getting pet, I do not like being touched around my chest so my ideal family will have adults only or older children who understand and respect my boundaries. Please give me a chance and I'll reward you with a lifetime of happiness! Adopt me!

Our goal at PAWS4you Rescue is to find the right home for our animals. The hard-working team of volunteers who comprise our adoption committee fully vet and review all adoption applications and work diligently to place each of our animals in the home that best meets their needs.

The PAWS4you Rescue retreat is not open to the public except during our Open Houses which are usually scheduled from 12 – 2 PM on the first Saturday of each month.You can also meet some of our pups at our monthly adoption events.

Since its inception in 2007, PAWS4you has served the vital need of sheltering, fostering, and placing homeless dogs in the southern part of Miami-Dade County. We offer life-saving services and employ various strategies to place and keep animals in loving, lifelong homes.
