My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Fernando. I was found as a stray. I am a very handsome and charming boy. I'm smart and a quick learner. I love belly rubs and will sit in your lap for hours getting pet! I have lots of energy and love running and playing catch with tennis balls. Maybe I can be your running partner. Chew toys are my favorite thing! Due to my energy level and size since I'm big and strong, my ideal home would be a house with a fenced yard (no apartments/condos) with adults only so that I don't knock over any kiddos by mistake. I get along with other dogs but no cats for me - I think they are fun to chase! I am protective of my humans and need to be properly introduced to new people so that I know we can be friends. I've been patiently waiting for someone active with dog experience to take me home. Do you think we are a match? Adopt me!

Our goal at PAWS4you Rescue is to find the right home for our animals. The hard-working team of volunteers who comprise our adoption committee fully vet and review all adoption applications and work diligently to place each of our animals in the home that best meets their needs.

The PAWS4you Rescue retreat is not open to the public except during our Open Houses which are usually scheduled from 12 – 2 PM on the first Saturday of each month.You can also meet some of our pups at our monthly adoption events.
