My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Pickle. I came all the way from a Humane Society in South Carolina. I am an energetic pup who loves to run and play. My favorite games are fetch and tug of war with rope toys. I would be an amazing companion for someone who is active, maybe I can be your running partner. Puppies and very active dogs are not my cup of tea, but I might be fine with a mellow dog and would need to meet first. My ideal environment is a house with a fenced yard, no apartments/condos. Since I am a big bouncy boy, I will do best with bigger kids who I won't knock down by mistake. If you have dog experience and are looking for a playful companion, look no further - it's me! Adopt me!

Our goal at PAWS4you Rescue is to find the right home for our animals. The hard-working team of volunteers who comprise our adoption committee fully vet and review all adoption applications and work diligently to place each of our animals in the home that best meets their needs.

The PAWS4you Rescue retreat is not open to the public except during our Open Houses which are usually scheduled from 12 – 2 PM on the first Saturday of each month.You can also meet some of our pups at our monthly adoption events.

Since its inception in 2007, PAWS4you has served the vital need of sheltering, fostering, and placing homeless dogs in the southern part of Miami-Dade County. We offer life-saving services and employ various strategies to place and keep animals in loving, lifelong homes.
