Hi, my name is Dante. I came to PAWS4you from the Humane Society in another state. I am a bit shy but warm up fast, especially with treats. Once I know you, I love getting belly rubs! I need a patient adopter with dog experience who is willing to spend a lot of time with me. I get a little possessive of my favorite human and I'd rather not share that person with anyone. Although I enjoy going on walks with low-energy dogs, I prefer not to share my human with furry friends either. I'm just a little finicky, but I'm still a good boy and will be a loyal companion. I love going for walks and the best part of being outdoors is chasing lizards! I have so much fun. I would do best in a house, no apartments/condos for me. In my ideal home, I would be the only pet and would have only one adult who would take me for walks and give me lots of belly rubs. Do you think you're the special person I'm looking for? Our goal at PAWS4you Rescue is to find the right home for our animals. The hard-working team of volunteers who comprise our adoption committee fully vet and review all adoption applications and work diligently to place each of our animals in the home that best meets their needs.

The PAWS4you Rescue retreat is not open to the public except during our Open Houses which are usually scheduled from 12 – 2 PM on the first Saturday of each month.You can also meet some of our pups at our monthly adoption events.
