My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rome is our 1.5 year old tiger striped cat who came to us as a kitten through our TNR program. His finder took him in to socialize him for a few weeks and he did well with the other cats in the home and is currently residing in one of our catteries. Rome is shy at first but is slowly coming back out of his shell with soft talking and treats! This handsome boy is looking for his forever home and could be a perfect match for a family with kids, 13 and up!

The Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter boasts one of the highest adoption rates in the nation. Come tour the Animal Shelter, meet a dog or cat, and bring the love of a pet into your home. All adopted pets will be spayed or neutered, will receive required inoculations and will be microchipped. These are included in adoption fees.
