My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Nebula, a young, playful and curious feline. Her independent spirit is as vast as the cosmos she's named after. Nebula has an insatiable curiosity that fuels her playful nature. Whether it's a rustling leaf or a shadow on the wall, nothing escapes her watchful gaze. Her favorite pastime is bird watching, where she can sit for hours, mesmerized by their flight. Recently, Nebula became a mother. Her kittens, like little stars, inherited her lively spirit. Nebula is more than just a cat; she's a companion who'll fill your life with joy and curiosity. Her playful nature will keep you entertained, and her independent streak ensures she's never too demanding. Adopt Nebula and invite a world of cosmic joy into your life.

More about this rescue

P.A.W.S. is an Indiana not-for-profit corporation doing business in Hancock County. We are not affiliated with any national organization. The Internal Revenue Service has recognized P.A.W.S. as a 501(c)(3) organization. This means that donations made to P.A.W.S. are deductible as provided in sec. 107 of the Internal Revenue Code. P.A.W.S. programs are funded completely from memberships, donations, grants and fundraising events. Our mission is to promote animal welfare in Hancock County through humane education and pet population control by:
Developing and providing humane education programs that teach kindness to and respect for all living things.
Helping animals housed in animal care shelters by promoting shelter adoptions and by providing improvements to shelter facilities, training for shelter staff and volunteers.
Promoting shelter and community based pet sterilization programs.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:
We are always in need of temporary foster homes for dogs, cats, kittens, bunnies, and guinea pigs! We also need cat litter [both scoopable and unscoopable], bleach, paper towels, and, of course, CASH OR CHECK DONATIONS OR GIFT CARDS TO WAL-MART OR PETSMART.

Donations help defray the costs of providing necessary veterinary care, shelter and food for the homeless pets in our care. Donations are tax deductible.
