Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
My husband was gifted Reese as a high school graduation gift. He received her as a puppy from a purebred breeder in South Dakota. She has basic training and is also a great bird hunting dog. She loves to run alongside the ATV but has her quiet moments and is content to snuggle. She does well with an underground fence and respects the boundary. She is also used to a training collar and respects that as well.
Her current negative traits are a leaky bladder issue she developed last summer but that seems to have gone away on its own. Because she has an attachment to my husband, she whines for him during the day. But she does not do this when she stays with our other family members during vacations/trips.
She has been a very sweet family dog, but we are no longer able to give her the time and attention she deserves. She would love a home where she can get all the snuggles she craves and a place to run out her GSP energy. An ideal home would still allow her to hunt if possible.
