Sonny is a friendly guy with the cutest eyebrows!

Sonny is a good puppy that just wants to love on his people and play with the dogs. He likes to run around outside and play tag with his friends. Inside, he loves toys and chewing on chew toys to help with teething.

Sonny was born in a puppy mill and missed out on critical socialization. His new family will need to be committed to socializing him in positive environments. We recommend the Puppy Culture program "With Open Arms and Level Head" for everything you need to know about bringing a puppy home and socializing.

Sonny has giardia, a common parasite found in puppy mills. He will go home with any remaining meds.

Sonny's adoption is $500. He is current on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped and on monthly heart worm prevention. Due to his young age, he has not been neutered. A neuter contract is required. Visit leiashope.org for next steps.

PLEASE NOTE: We are a volunteer ran rescue with full time jobs. Please allow 7-10 days for application processing.
All of our dogs are in foster homes and a meet and greet is done ONLY after an approved application.
We do adopt out of the area. However, we do not ship or provide transportation. You must come to the location of the dog to meet and adopt. NO EXCEPTION. All family members and dogs must be present at the meet.
Dogs are a commitment for THEIR lifetime. For puppies this could be 15 years. If YOU cannot commit to the lifetime of the DOG, please do not apply. Puppies under 9 months must go to a home where there is someone home frequently (works from home or a partner is home), can adequately socialize and train the puppy, and can keep up with puppy energy!
