My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, I'm Freddie,

Elton and I are as best of friends as any two birds could be. We love to serenade our fosters and chat about life. They don't understand us so they just say we make cute squeaks and sing beautiful melodies, they appreciate it so that's all that matters hehe Elton is an amazing flier, sadly I am not. Sometimes I will even lose my balance and fall a little so I have to be careful. We are not hand shy, we don't mind when they reach in our enclosure to clean, give us food etc. Elton is still usure about actually stepping up but I have started to sometimes! I'm so proud of myself and hoping it will help Elton be brave too! Overall our foster descrbes us as happy handsome boys! On that note, no worries, we are both DNA tested and confirmed male. Our friends here at LL have explained that although there are visual cues, they are not always accurate. So to ensure no surprises, they get all their feathered friends DNA tested to confirm gender. Although we love it here we are ready to fly into our own forever home so please fill out the application asap! We cannot wait to meet you!

Little Lives Small Animal Rescue is a 501c3 Non-Profit organization located in Tri-Cities, Washington. Our primary focus is on small animals such as rodents, reptiles, birds, etc.

We want to help our community as much as we can by rescuing small animals, reducing overpopulation, and educating the community on small animal care.
