My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Evelyn's a gregarious girl that enjoys the company of playful puppy friends. If they play harder than she does, she’ll roll over and play dead until she’s boring. She’s done great with all sizes of dogs so far.

She loves sticks and toys and romping around a backyard with friends or alone.

She would love being someone’s running or hiking buddy since she’s not a low key gal. Before she runs, she’ll need a bit of leash training. Even though she’s higher dog, she does love to snuggle in the hammock for a bit. She also has been doing great in the crate for several hours at a time.

Did we mention she’s very food motivated? Between that and being very smart she’ll be eager to learn new things. She understandably doesn’t like to share her food bowl with other dogs but has no issues sharing treats with friends outside the bowl.

Her potty training is going really well, but it’s still not perfect. She’s only been in a foster home since 8/31, so the progress she’s made so far is impressive.

All adoptions require an approved application. The approval process includes but is not limited to reference checks, housing verification which may include home visits, personal ID verification, and veterinary references. Once this process is complete adopter must agree to and sign our adoption agreement contract insuring the best interest and care of the animal will always be priority. Every adoption is a case by case basis to ensure we match each dog with the most compatible home for its needs.
Our fees are determined by an average cost of care to transport, provide medical care, feed, and supply needed items and services to each of our rescue animals.
Our adoption fees range from $205 to $415 based on the age of the animal.

L.O.L.A.'S Rescue is a foster based, 501c3, non-profit, PACFA Licensed, no-kill rescue. We specialize in the rescue and rehabilitation mostly of large and giant breed dogs.

It is our hope to save as many adoptable dogs as possible from uncertain futures, and find them forever, loving homes. Our dogs come from all situations, from families that can no longer keep them, strays, to shelter dogs that are on the euthanasia lists at high kill shelters around the country.

Our rescue is run solely on the help from our dedicated fosters, volunteers, and donations. We are always searching for new amazing fosters and volunteers to help us expand our mission and do even more amazing life saving work in the future.
