Hello, I'm Beowulf, named after a legendary hero. In my own tale, I was living the quiet life of a housecat when a sudden, mysterious event turned my world upside down and I was cast out into the wilderness alone. My superpower? An extraordinary ability to love. Despite my shy nature, I found myself comforting other scared kitties in a similar predicament to my own. Together, my subjects and I found a kind homeowner, who fed and sheltered us on their porch for several years. It wasn't a bad life, but we longed to be loved as indoor pets again. Then Foster Paws came along and was a hero to all of us. At first I did not think it was a good thing as they took me to a Vet, which I was sure was my nemesis just like my namesake's Grendal. This vet knocked me out and removed many of my ferocious teeth. I felt sure I'd lost a terrible battle, however after a few days, I began to feel so much better. I had no idea those teeth were bothering me so much until they were gone. Now that I'm feeling better I'm starting to show my foster parents my true self. After all I've been through it will take me some time to warm up to any new people, but once I come around I promise it will be worth it.
