My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello
My name is Glenn. I am the smartest and most adaptive of my litter. I was born by a beautiful lake that was frequented by really nice people that would feed my mom. My mom had us in a bush that she dug a little den around us. The problem was that we were days old and were getting eaten alive by mosquitos. Luckily, we were found by a nice lady, and she saved us from those mosquitos and the outside elements. Glenn loves playing with balls and hunting down catnip mice. He also loves to look out the window at all the wildlife or try and catch flies indoors. He is very affectionate and would love to have a lap to call his own. He would need another young fur buddy at home to play with as he is very social and loves to play. He gets along with kittens, cats and children.
If you would like more information about Glenn please go to our website at www.southerncountiesrescue.org and complete our online application.
Thanks.

More about this rescue

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue group. We rescue abandoned cats & kittens from the streets and high kill city animal shelters in Orange, Los Angeles, Imperial and San Diego counties.
We also help people who need to rehome their pets through our Community Foster Program in that we post the cats on our internet sites and accept applications for them. We also help the owner screen applicants and bring their cats to our adoption events but we cannot physically take them since we are foster based. We do not have a physical shelter, we foster in our homes, not in cages which is a more natural environment for cats.
Lastly, we help reduce the number of unwanted kittens with TNR (Trap-Neuter/spay-Release) by loaning traps and instructing others on how to TNR and by referring people to low-cost S/N clinics.
