My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bonnie was the world's best mom to two little twins, Shelia and Beatrice, who happily have been adopted together. But now it's Bonnie's turn! Only about a year old, she's spayed and never has to worry about being a mother again. She still has a sweet, protective and nurturing nature, though. Bonnie is affectionate, yet a little shy with new people. She is fine with other chill, quiet cats, but can be a bit submissive around more outgoing ones. She deserves a home where she can finally be babied herself and get her confidence built up. We just know she'll blossom into an even sweeter sweet pea than she already is! Bonnie is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Fill out an application at the sanctuary or www.secondchanceas.org/adopt (Inquiries on online listings don't constitute an application)

2.

Interview

We will call your veterinarian and personal references. We'll also call you if we have questions or need more information.

3.

Approve Application

We will approve or deny the application. You may be approved to adopt, but not necessarily the same animal you originally applied for.

4.

Meet the Pet

This may be done before applying. You'll be asked to sign an adoption contract and to make a certain donation amount, rather than a set fee.

Additional adoption info

We are passionate about pairing animals in need with loving families who would best suit their individual needs. NOTE: You do not have to apply for a specific animal on your application. You can submit it as a "pre-application" for a certain size, age or breed of animal, and if approved, we can contact you if a possible match arrives at the shelter.
