My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello
My name is Zaila which means power in Arabic. I was found by a college student on the hot pavement with no mom around and my umbilical cord still attached. She had to return to school and had no time for a newborn so reached out to our rescue for help. Zaila is vivacious and playful and full of kitten energy. She loves playing with bottle caps, feather, balls and climbing cat tree on her cat condo. She is very affectionate and would love to have a lap or shoulder to call her own. Zaila would need a kitten pr other young cat she could play with because she is very social and active.
She gets along with cats, kittens and children.

More about this rescue

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue group. We rescue abandoned cats & kittens from the streets and high kill city animal shelters in Orange, Los Angeles, Imperial and San Diego counties.
We also help people who need to rehome their pets through our Community Foster Program in that we post the cats on our internet sites and accept applications for them. We also help the owner screen applicants and bring their cats to our adoption events but we cannot physically take them since we are foster based. We do not have a physical shelter, we foster in our homes, not in cages which is a more natural environment for cats.
Lastly, we help reduce the number of unwanted kittens with TNR (Trap-Neuter/spay-Release) by loaning traps and instructing others on how to TNR and by referring people to low-cost S/N clinics.
