Meet Mia!

This GORGEOUS pup came in to our shelter and we're happy to say was taken into a foster home. Babies don't deserve to spend their days in a loud, stressful shelter environment - especially when so young and impressionable!

This baby girl is doing so well in her foster home and has other doggie siblings there, so she gets to grow in confidence and learn how to be a dog in a loving environment while she waits for her forever home!

Miss Mia is looking for her forever family where she can soak in all the love and cuddles and experience all that the great big world has to offer for such a young innocent girl.

We encourage you to meet the furry friend you are interested in before filling out an application.

Meet the Pet

Submit Application

Once you find the furry friend you want to adopt, a quick adoption application will need to be filled out.

4.
Approve Application

After the application is submitted, we will review it and contact you if your application is chosen.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Once your application is approved, we will contact you to finalize the adoption process!

All that is needed for the adoption application is a
**valid driver license**

We are located at 1600 Johnson Road in Petersburg, Virginia.
Our hours of operation are Monday - Friday 10am till 3pm.
We are closed Saturdays and Sundays (as well as holidays).
However, if needed before or after hours, please give us a call!
