What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
At Home: Roams freely. Keep small objects & documents off the floor
In the Car: Always uses a dog seatbelt
Sleep: Sleeps with a blanket, in a kennel w/ the door open, or any room. Enjoys sunbathing.
Food: Eats fruits-apples, pears, blueberries, bananas, frozen veggies, cooked food, kibble, treats, and Greenies after meals
Potty: Outdoors only
Hygiene: Afraid of water; sponge baths
Allergies: None
Exercise: Active. Gets 30 min walk and 15 min playtime daily. Leash trained, but some pulling. If bad weather, plays fetch indoors or in the backyard
Commands: Knows basic commands +. Needs practice for consistency
Good Around: Loyal & playful w/ family, good at the vet, no issues w/ fireworks
Needs Work: Due to his overprotective nature, he's reactive to dogs, cats, children, some humans, motorcycles, loud vehicles, trucks, school buses, UPS trucks, skateboarders, and bicycles. Schedule vet visits during slow times. Always use a leash & muzzle to avoid confrontations
