Meet Sugar Cookie!

Sugar Cookie is a sassy girl who loves giving kisses to the people she loves. She is friendly and thrives off of human attention, but also loves the dogs! She has done well in introductions to other dogs in the shelter, especially the boys — our girl is a bit of a flirt!

Sugar Cookie loves to be included in all the family activities and is an absolute expert at cuddling. She's also mastered the perfect sploot! While she’s a strong bully girl, our short little nugget is actually an angel on the leash — once she gets her initial burst of energy out she’s an excellent walker (and even a little lazy if we’re being completely honest). Our girl loves her snackies and that’s an even bigger bonus to help in learning new tricks and manners!

We estimate that she is around 2-4 years old and approx. 45 pounds. She has recently been spayed and must be adopted into a home where she will live inside as part of the family! Sugar Cookie came into the shelter with her BFF Oreo. Oreo just found her forever home with the perfect family over the weekend, but Sugar Cookie is unfortunately still waiting for her happily ever after. Thankfully with all of the loving attention of her wonderful foster momma, Sugar Cookie has adjusted so well to the single life and her little diva personality is coming through! According to her foster momma, Miss Cookie has silly little temper tantrums when she doesn't get her way and will howl right at you to let you know she doesn't think it fair!! She's also been seen running around in teeny bursts of energy displaying the most perfectly little chunky short-legged zoomies with spontaneous freezes in the middle. She has just discovered how much she loves toys and life outside of the shelter; and really our sweet girl is just wondering why she hasn’t found her own happily ever after yet.
