My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Valeera came to us with her 3 babies and her baby Daddy. All of them have since found their own families and Valeera finds herself alone and still waiting. Valeera has a sweet and friendly disposition. She is a happy girl who loves to be with people. Valeera is a favorite of the shelter staff and volunteers who all adore her and enjoy spending time with her in the play yard or taking walks on our trail around the pond. Valeera is good with people and other dogs. We do not know what she thinks about cats. Valeera is about 2 years old and 50 pounds. Please help Valeera find the loving home she deserves.

Update: Valeera had tested positive for Lyme & Anaplasmosis, two common tick borne disease and has already completed her course of oral antibiotic. She is currently available for adoption and ready to go to her forever family.

We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821).

Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.

Valeera's adoption fee is $200. This covers all their age-appropriate shots, microchipping and vetting.

**If you are coming to an adoption event to see a certain dog/cat, please email ahead of time to make sure that dog/cat will be there that day. Please email 1-2 days before the event, as some animals are placed during the week and our list is constantly changing.
