My name is Arctic!

If you KNOW huskies, then you know Artic. Artic is 3-years-young and came to us as a lost dog that was never claimed. What we know about him is that he loves to be outside, like most dogs his breed! Arctic is smart (sometimes too smart for his own good) and is an escape artist so a secure yard where he can roam and hang would be a must for him.

While Artic does love his human friends here, he’s not the type to accept unwanted or sudden hugs or handling – rest assured though, when he’s looking for some gentle affection.. he’ll come to you. Artic has shown that he is a sweet and and loving boy with the people he trusts the most. The best thing about Artic is that he shows clear signs when he’s uncomfortable which is why an experienced adopter or rescue is a must for him.

Arctic has been on pair-walks with other dogs and has done well – we do this he could co-exist with another compatible dog in his new home. Arctic will need a low-traffic, adult only environment where he can learn to be the great dog we know he is!
