Meet sweet Sylvia. She is approximately 3 years old and has been in a foster home for a while and is looking for her true forever home. Sylvia has a beautiful soft coat of grey and white fur, the cutest grey mustache, a sweet short tail and the most adorable petite paws. She originally came to FABS rescue after being rescued from living outside with her 3 babies. She is such a sweet girl and gets sweeter the more comfortable she gets.

Sylvia really enjoys a calm, quiet, easy lifestyle. She is a very loyal girl and will grow a strong bond with her person. One of her favorite things is finding a cozy spot by a window (sun is preferred) where she can keep watch on everything in between her naps. She loves finding a west facing window in her foster home where she will watch the sun set every evening.

While she does love to have a chill lifestyle, don’t worry, Sylvia also knows how to “let her hair down” and play and have a good time too. She still has some fun kitten energy but she isn’t too needy with wanting you to play with her. She has a favorite mouse wand toy she loves to play with and she also goes crazy for laser pointers and automatic laser toys. She is perfect in not using her nails on anything but her cat toys and has been a quick learner on where she isn’t allowed like the countertops. Got a mouse? No problem for Sylvia. She will let you know for sure, it’s her superpower.

Sylvia isn’t demanding with affection and loves when you visit her while she is resting with lots of pets, kisses and chin scratches. When company comes, Sylvia doesn’t run away scared. She will usually greet people at the door and hang around and be a part of everything without being overbearing.

Sylvia has been living with another cat and does ok. If you have another cat who is ok with her being “the boss” she would love the companionship but she is ok with being the only princess too.
She will play hide and seek with her foster brother and chase him around but she doesn’t let him touch her. She respects his space and he respects her space and that includes no touching. Households with dogs or children under 12 wouldn’t be a good fit for Sylvia.
Sylvia is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations and FELV/FIV negative.
