Black with a white chest and toe gloves, and a perfectly dashing pink mustache, Kona looks tuxedo ready for the ball! This one-year-old boxer mix is sweet as they come, and always up for meeting new friends. Kona's huge smile, soft, floppy ears, and big brown eyes can melt a heart like butter.
This boy is super smart, and he loves treats--the ideal combination for training. ALL treats and ALL foods are his favorites. He can already sit and play fetch and is very well-behaved in the car. A ride, or a walk/run in the park are among his favorite pastimes.
Nobody goes from living on the street to residing in Buckingham Palace without a few faux-paws in etiquette, but Kona is trying his best to learn proper manners. He's a magnificent cuddler, and will try and sneak onto the bed and snuggle up with his foster, if he can get away with it. He has that puppy+boxer energy, and loves to play with his dog buddy, though he can be picky about which dogs he befriends.
Like every pup, Kona adores chewing on just about anything, so heavy-duty chew toys would be a great investment.
The ideal home for Kona would be a place with a yard with grass, shade, and another playful, energetic dog to share his life with. Kona needs experienced owners with lots of patience and the time to invest in training him, as he's still a pup who probably didn't receive the attention he should've when he was younger. He craves human companionship, wanting to be with his people as much as possible, and badly desires to please.
With the right owners, this intelligent, loving boy who is so full of life, will blossom into an amazing, devoted companion. Why not make him yours?

We are a tax exempt nonprofit 501c3 based in San Antonio,Texas. Formed in 2017, our mission is to raise funds for animal rescue and find forever homes for our adoptable cats and dogs. Donations are used for veterinary costs, intake fees to animal rescue providers, transport costs to rescue partners and animal fostering costs. To fund our charitable animal rescue efforts we rely solely on the much needed donations of our generous supporters. We can't do it without you!
Your donation directly helps the animals in need, as we do not draw any salaries. We rehabilitate and then adopt our cats and dogs to amazing pet owners not only in San Antonio but throughout the country. We work with many local shelters, rescues and individuals to save as many as we can.
