My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm in a FOSTER HOME! To meet me, email my foster parent at ravcatfoster@gmail.com.

***Guinea pigs are very social, and they benefit and thrive from the companionship of each other!
***Adopt one and HRA will waive the adoption fee when adopting another one!

Pipsqueak (we call her Pippy!) is looking for a trip into your heart and home. This beautiful piggie was recently left at the shelter along with 19 other piggies! She's a little shy but she's very snuggly, and does love to be held and to sit in your lap. Pippy is always excited to see her people and enjoys running around her enclosure and wheeks when she sees that I am bringing her some more hay or lettuce. She eats pellets and drinks water well and is a very healthy little guinea pig. She likes to play with her bell toy, chew on her chew sticks, and throw crumpled paper around for fun. She's very curious and sociable, and I think she would love to be part of a guinea pig pack. She had five babies and is ready to retire from being a mom! She would love to be adopted with one of her two daughters, Arthur or DW!

Guinea pigs can be very active and playful, they always have fresh veggies and fruits, and they love toys. They like veggies, fruits, pellets and hay. Bananas, broccoli, celery, and carrots are yummies many piggies like too. Guinea pigs love large spaces to hang out, play and get some good naps. They also need proper chew toys as their teeth keep growing! They also must get their nails trimmed periodically too. These neat pets do have unique housing, nutritional and set-up needs so be sure to ask our adoptions counselors how to get ready to bring Pippy home.
