My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet JuneBug. This sweet girl is about ONE year old and ready for her forever home.

She and her pups were dumped in a farmers field in Francois County and he threatened to shoot them.

Luckily the rescue was able to save them. Junebug was very skittish, underweight and full of fleas, ticks and worms

After many months of antibiotics, good food and TLC JuneBug has blossomed into an absolute doll

She is great with other dogs and would love to find her forever home.

Please contact her foster mom at kathysemail16@gmail.com

More about this rescue

ACT Now! Rescue is an all volunteer, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) no kill dog rescue and animal welfare organization serving St. Louis County, Jefferson County, St. Charles, Warren and Franklin County in Missouri. We operate through a foster network and work with local shelters, as well as take in stray and abandoned animals. As an organization, we strongly oppose puppy mills and breeding programs and emphasize education and a vigorous spay/neuter program in order to reduce problems of overpopulation.
We started full operations in September 2006. There are many exciting opportunities to join the group and help further the causes of dog and cat welfare in this region. We are currently looking for generous people willing to share their homes and serve as foster parents for the animals we take in as well as volunteers to serve is almost every other area of the operation.
