My name is KIT- Paws Behind Bars Trained!

KIT is a 10 month old, mixed breed female that came to us as a family surrender. She weighs 40 lbs and was surrendered, more than likely, because cute puppies grow up into energetic adults.

We're getting her the care and attention she needs in the hopes of finding a perfect family fit for her. She is very outgoing and affectionate. To address the energy? She is currently participating in our Paws Behind Bars prison dog training program. Here, she lives with her inmate on a 24/7 basis. It's a win, win for her. She finally has the companionship dogs thrive on and she's getting exercise and having fun while she is actually learning basic obedience.

She is the perfect fit for anyone looking for an active companion. She gets along well with other dogs and doesn't seem to mind the yard cat at the prison. She will need a fenced yard so she can continue to get thee exercise she needs.
