My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Nya

Nya is a female pug approximately 5 years old. She’s up to date on vaccines, microchipped and her spay is scheduled.

If there is one thing her life experiences have taught her, it’s what she likes and what she doesn’t. For example, affection, she enjoys it but will ask for it when it suits her needs. She is the queen and will determine when that is!

This queen’s new “castle” should be with a throne all to her own, however should a submissive loyal subject reside there, it would be tolerated. Nya prefers not to engage with other dogs though, it’s just her style! She is fine to coexist, so long as they understand that she’s the queen and to bow down to her glory.

Her ideal kingdom would be one where she can relax, let go of the world‘s worries she has been carrying, and know that her family will protect, respect, and offer her all the love she absolutely deserves.

If you’re ready to cater to this queen’s desires and every wish, while at the same time allowing her to discover her new castle (On her terms of course!) please fill out an application at www.pathwaysforpaws.com

Additional adoption info

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

More about this rescue

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
