Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
My Name is King. I am a very handsome 2-year-old Akita/Shepherd Mix. I LOVE everyone I meet, including kids and dogs!! I have been around cats, and I have done really well (...and they kind of scare me lol). I am VERY treat motivated! I already know SIT, and my name. I have been working on my recall, as well as the command WAIT and MOVE OVER for when I am being walked. I enjoy going on walks/runs and will carry a toy in my mouth for the majority of it! I am an extended stay pup which means I have been looking for a loving home for over 30 days (AND I am only $25 to adopt)! This means that I also qualify for the 7-day foster to adopt trial. This program can help make sure that I am your perfect fit! Some things you should know about me before taking me home is that.....I am too cuddly, I am too photogenic, and I am too goofy.....no but really, I am a good boy. I might need some help learning your route and will need lots of toys for me to chew on. The staff here at Irving Animal Services can NOT believe that I am still available for adoption!! Make sure you stop by to meet me in person!
With lots and lots and lots of Love, King
