My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Hopi!

A spirited four-year-old English Pointer Mix from Boulder, CO, whose essence is a vibrant burst of joy wrapped in a sleek coat of white with striking black patches! Hopi is the epitome of a well-rounded and devoted companion, perfectly blending her high-energy playfulness with moments of relaxed independence.

This 62-pound bundle of energy is not just any dog; she's a marvel of training and obedience! Hopi knows an impressive array of commands including sit, stay, come, leave it, down, and off. She responds beautifully to voice and sight commands. Her treat motivation makes training sessions a joy, and her impeccable leash manners ensure every walk is a pleasant experience!

Hopi’s heart belongs to the dog park, where she can frolic and play with dogs of all sizes. Her love for sock toys and balls keeps her engaged and active, ensuring that her playful spirit is always in full bloom. Despite her energetic nature, Hopi knows how to relax and enjoys her downtime, particularly after a good exercise session.

One of Hopi’s most notable traits is her independence. She handles being alone with ease, making her a great fit for various household dynamics. Her friendly demeanor extends to strangers, young children, and other dogs, making her a constant companion and a delight to have around!

However, Hopi's hunting instincts are strong. She has a particular penchant for chasing cats and rabbits, so a home without small furry creatures is ideal. Her potential family should have a high, secure fence to keep her safe while she explores and enjoys her outdoor time.

Hopi is in excellent health, up-to-date with vaccinations, spayed, house-trained, and microchipped. She thrives on a routine that includes morning and evening walks, meals twice a day, and sleeping on her comfy bed.

Also, Hopi is open to a long-distance adoption—love knows no distance when finding your perfect companion!

If you’re looking for an amazing dog who combines playfulness with poise, look no further than Hopi. She’s ready to bring joy and companionship to her new family! Could that be you?
