Foster cat's bio for their adoption profile: Neo is a special guy with FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) which can sound scary. But, many kitties with FIV live relatively normal lives.
He is a very sweet guy, but is a bit shy in new situations. He will likely keep to himself when first landing in a new home, assessing the situation and building his confidence. His brother Trigger has really helped show him the ropes. He loves to play, snooze in his fav bed, snuggle on laps, and most of all, eat snacks.
Neo has had all of his teeth removed due to stomatitis, but now that that is all dealt with, his true personality is starting to shine. AND his glorious bleps have started to present themselves.
He has met children, but mostly keeps hidden away because the high energy/extra noise can be a bit much for him.
Any special needs or traits the adopter should know about? (we may add this to the bio): FIV positive, food motivated, best for quiet and patient home.
Sex: Male
Breed: Domestic Short Hair

More about this rescue
Since 1996 SCAT Street Cat Rescue's prime focus has been feral cats because of the limited options available for them. TNR is a successful option instead of the traditional trap and kill. The majority of the cats rescued by SCAT, however, are socialized and available for adoption. As the city grows, so to does the need for our services. Adopt, Donate, Volunteer, TODAY!
