Hi, I'm the regal and dignified Leonard! I'm a fluffy friendly muffin maker. I love to play when I'm in the mood! I was previously hit by a car some years ago but I'm fully recovered. I have seasonal and food allergies so I need to eat a prescription food. I might be ok with another cat but I am on a strict diet of a prescription food.

I'm very chill and I even tolerate belly rubs! I love to jump up high and look out windows.

We do not do same-day adoptions and have an application process.

You are welcome to come into our shelter to visit the cats during our regular business hours before or after turning in an application.

Animal Aid of Portland is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue and welfare organization, passionately serving animals and the people they love since 1969. It is our mission to enhance the welfare of companion animals through individualized care and lifelong commitment, rescue and adoption, resources and education, and community partnerships. We operate a free-roam shelter for cats; a foster program for dogs and cats; It Takes a Pack, a community-driven animal care supply sharing initiative; and the Animal Aid Cares Fund, a partnership with veterinarians, trainers, and behaviorists in Portland to provide financial assistance for urgent medical and behavioral care.
