Meet Elsa, a 6 month old female Westie/Bichon mix estimated to be around 18 lbs. This happy girl was dropped off to us at an adoption event because her owners could no longer care for her. While initially a little timid, she warmed up fast and now enjoys getting all the attention. She is working on going potty outside but is currently comfortable going on pee pads. She does need work on basic manners including walking on a leash. She gets along with other dogs but cares more about getting attention from humans than playing with other dogs.
Elsa came to us completely matted and dirty but after she got a much needed grooming, she is looking and feeling so much better! Apartments not recommended due to her love for “talking” when she gets excited. We do not recommend a home with young kids as she is very energetic and jumps up and accidentally scratches. She is very smart and food motivated and is learning boundaries every day.
