Introducing Shelly from the Manors kittens, named for the neighborhood they were found in, but she also has perfect manners! Shelly is a gorgeous dilute calico and is as beautiful inside as she is outside. Shelly and her siblings were born to a street cat and the litter took up residence under the deck of a kind neighbor, mainly due to the smorgasbord they enjoyed morning and night! The kind neighbor fed them and played with them, but knew life on the streets was no fun for these adorable babies. Animal Allies of Texas stepped in and offered Matilda and her siblings a better life, a life indoors with couches to sleep on and toys to play with!
Since moving inside Shelly has been living it up! Though shy at first, she’s come out of her shell thanks to her caring foster mom. See loves to play with her siblings and toys, and follows this with a nap on her foster mom’s lap. See has to fight her siblings for prime lap position though! She loves being the center of attention and can be found snuggled up with the dog. There are other cats and dogs in her foster home and she gets along with everyone. Shelly is litterbox trained and ready to show off her impeccable etiquette with you!

More about this rescue
Animal Allies of Texas is a 501(c)(3) animal advocacy/rescue organization, dedicated to improving the quality of life in our community. Our goal is to build a no-kill shelter on enough land to house not only "adoptable" animals, but "treatable" ones as well - those who need medical care or behavior modification to become adoptable. While working toward this goal, we will also engage in community service and humane education projects to help bring about "humanity championed by thought."
