Snickers is positive for Feline Aids(Feline immunodeficiency virus) he is very healthy and can live a long and happy life. He can be with other cats as long as they are not agressive or another positive kitty(s). Snickers is a very gentle and loving kitty. He loves to snuggle, play and can be very silly at times. He needs a family with a quiet household and that will give him time to adjust to a new enviroment and be patient, the results will be a devoted loving kitty.

All pets are vaccinated, sterilized, and microchipped prior to their adoption unless medically noted otherwise.
Potential adopters are required to fill out an application and have a GAAR representative complete a home visit before adoption; applicants are then subject to GAAR approval before adoption. Please note that applications are not first-come, first-serve, and instead, pets are placed in homes that we perceive to be the most ideal match for them.

Guardian Angel Animal Rescue (GAAR) is a no kill, not for profit rescue dedicated to the welfare of abused, neglected, and disabled animals. Primarily a dog and cat rescue, we are a community of volunteers in Southeastern Michigan that have the goal of temporarily sheltering each animal in our houses until a responsible, loving, and permanent home is found. GAAR is firmly against euthanasia as a means of reducing unwanted animals and we accept animals of any age of condition. Both volunteers and pets come to us for that very same reason.
