My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Poor Henry can't catch a break! He was returned to us after just leaving for what we thought was his forever home after just 2 weeks. The claim is that he needs a farm but Henry would do fine with a yard and a hiking partner to keep him happy. Henry originally came to us back in December 2023 and has been looking for his forever home since. He has been happy go lucky through all of this including living at the shelter for a long time but we would very much like to find this nice boy a good home. He is a very friendly boy who became a favorite at our vets office when he was neutered and micro-chipped. He is a large dog at about 70 pounds who is possibly Greater Swiss mountain dog in him, possibly rottweiler, possibly Australian shepherd and who knows what else. His striking feature is his brilliant blue eyes! And his beautiful facial mask coloring. This boy wants to please and if you have room in your home and heart for a larger but super friendly guy, please consider him! His adoption fee does not even cover his medical work done but we do want him in a home as soon as we can. He deserves it! Adoption fee is $100.

Our adoption fees do vary depending on the animal and all pets go to new owners already spayed and neutered, vaccinated and wormed. All adopters are given a two week adoption trial with an exchange guarantee if the animal does not work out. We require a completed adoption application, which is on line on our website, and a signed care contract. All pets go out with a copy of their signed agreement and a copy of their medical record. Fees for adult cats are $60-75 and kittens are $75. Fees for dogs are $125 to $200 for adult mixed breed up to $300 for purebred, small dog puppies.
